Chain conveyor

The chain conveyor is designed for conveying dry materials such as powders, granules, pellets, flakes, wood waste, recycling and flours. It can be used for both horizontal and inclined transport. A chain conveyor is also ideal for use as a distribution conveyor for silo blocks. A well-designed chain conveyor ensures optimal efficiency and quality by making the best use of available capacities. Our redlers include wear parts. If these are replaced before they wear out, our conveyors can last for decades, not least due to the choice of materials, thicknesses, chains and the type of wear parts. Our redlers can also be equipped with intermediate floors.

Description

The hot-dip galvanised housing of the chain conveyor consists of a drive and tension section of redler wheels and multiple modular intermediate sections. The thoughtful design simplifies assembly and maintenance of the redler wheels. The drive is coupled directly or by a chain transmission.

Operation

The product is pulled across the floor by rectangular shaped scrapers. These scrapers are mounted below a guided chain. It is possible to use specially designed sliding gates to output the product at different points. In addition to applications in various production processes, the chain conveyor is also widely used in, for example, grain and animal feed storage plants.
