“I visited the site again this morning and just now. I see that the project is coming along really well and the schedule is looking good."
Conveyors
FIXED CONVEYORS
Fixed conveyors are mainly installed for loading or unloading ships or as production lines. They can be set up with or without weighing and even calibrated.
MOBILE CONVEYORS
CHASSIS
- The extremely sturdy chassis allows the wheelbase to be shifted a long way back. This allows more stacking, both in height and width, and keeps the wheeled chassis free.
- Conveyor with trapezoidal tubular chassis. This structure provides greater stability allowing mobile conveyors up to 20 m.
- Using round tubes for the chassis ensures that the material cannot remain lying on it, providing better protection from corrosion.
- Shock resistant chassis
- Version available in painted steel or stainless steel for corrosive environments.
- Superstructure required for lengths 16 m to 20 m.
MOTOR/DRIVE
- Motor for larger loads available.
- Motor gearboxes are in cast iron for protection against aggressive environments.
- Powered by AC geared motor for higher efficiency.
- Phase current switch in socket.
HYDRAULIC PUMP
- Manual hydraulic pump. For 18 and 20 m conveyors, an electrically driven hydraulic pump is recommended.
PROTECTION
- Moving parts are screened off using shield plates.
- An emergency stop cable runs around the machine.
TRACK
- Rubber track with chevron tread for longer track life.
- Standard width: 600 mm. 800 mm and 1000 mm widths available on request.
ROLLERS
- Top rollers always in PVC, return rollers in galvanised or stainless steel depending on the product to be transported.
- Dual return rollers are always used to ensure greater belt stability.
- Reverse of conveyor belt is low to the ground which allows direct loading from a truck.
Pull-nose conveyor
A track can optionally be fitted with a pull-nose conveyor, which is fitted on a swing mount and at high speed can project material tens of meters further.
