Abattoir waste
In the abattoir waste processing or rendering process, raw animal fats, raw bones and semi-finished products are processed into rendered fat and meat-and-bone meal. The end products are used for a variety of purposes, e.g., in pharmaceuticals, food products, animal feed, fertilisers and bioenergy.
